Internetcomputer (ICP)
Although Internet Computer (ICP) has surged from $3.22 in September 2023 to around $18 today, it remains a coin to keep an eye on.
ICP claims to achieve 80 times more transactions per second than the Ethereum network and provides interoperability with major blockchains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, other EVMs, and soon Solana, without relying on intermediaries.
This multi-chain system focuses heavily on DeFi transactions, which hold great promise but also carry the risk of regulation once MICA is enforced. ICP’s “chain-key” signatures enable domestic transactions on other blockchains without using risky bridges.
This feature is unique to ICP. Dominic Williams, whom I met at a blockchain conference in Barcelona, recently spoke about how AI operates on a third-generation blockchain as a smart contract. Interestingly, ICP is marketed by Swedes based in Portugal, whom I also met last year. For tech enthusiasts, building your AI assistant, ELNA, on ICP is an option.

Nabij (NEAR)
Illia Polosukhin, co-founder of Near Protocol, moved to the U.S. after working at Google as the head of TensorFlow, and along with his team, co-authored the landmark AI paper “Attention is All You Need” in 2017.
This paper was also discussed at Nvidia’s Transforming AI conference. While Near has faced challenges, including the shutdown of its stablecoin USN, it remains one of the fastest blockchains, using a unique sharding technology called Nightshade, which supports up to 100,000 transactions per second.
What started as limited hardware wallet compatibility has evolved into a fully functional platform, with some of the lowest transaction costs in the market. Near Tasks, which is set to launch soon, aims to unlock AI’s potential using human expertise.
While it seems more like a testing service for new products, Near is trying to present itself as an AI platform due to its founder’s background.
You can trade Near through Gate IO, which offers low spreads and a wide range of assets. Learn more about Gate IO in our independent review.
De grafiek (GRT)
The Graph (GRT) is both a cryptocurrency and a platform that offers access to blockchain data worldwide. Users can access blockchain data without needing their own servers, potentially saving costs.
Apps can use The Graph to create subgraphs and display data for a range of applications such as DeFi products, NFTs, DAOs, games, and cryptocurrencies.
Over 40 blockchains are supported, and more are added regularly. The Graph allows for up to 100,000 requests per month for free, with additional requests priced at 4 USDT for every 100,000 requests.
In November 2023, The Graph announced support for AI-assisted queries after raising an additional $50 million. For tech enthusiasts, Firehouse is a new fast technology developed by The Graph Foundation.
If you’re tired of reading, you can trade GRT on Gate IO with competitive, low spreads.
Rendering (RNDR)
Render (RNDR) started on Ethereum and Polygon but is now moving to the Solana network, which will be its primary platform moving forward. Render specializes in 3D rendering, especially for video. Artists and developers have increasingly adopted RNDR since 2023.
The Render Foundation has a white paper if you want more information. Founder Jules Urbach recently discussed “The Future of Rendering” at Nvidia’s AI conference in March 2024, covering topics like real-time crypto tracking, AI, holographic displays, and blockchains.

AI ophalen (FET)
Fetch AI focuses heavily on AI and is designed to help build, develop, and monetize AI apps, integrations, marketplaces, and services.
Fetch AI’s creators claim it can turn in-house systems into AI-ready platforms without altering existing APIs. The company offers services like AI Engine to find AI agents, a search and discovery service, analytical insights, and web hosting.
You can trade Fetch AI on Binance and several other crypto exchanges.
Aioz-netwerk (AIOZ)
Aioz Network (AIOZ) supports a fast, secure, and decentralized future, offering computing, web3 storage, and streaming capabilities. It can be used for training AI models, storing datasets, building apps, and contributing to the future of AI.
Although Aioz’s blockchain has very low transaction fees, its trading volume remains relatively low, with just 10 million USD traded yesterday. The majority of its nodes are located in Europe, followed by North America, with a few in Asia, and limited presence in South America.
The Aioz network aims to make AI collaboration more open and accessible to everyone. Since its launch, Aioz coin has risen from 0.012 USD in October 2023 to 0.78 USD at the time of writing.

Humans AI (HEART)
Humans AI (HEART) is an AI-focused utility token running on Ethereum and Osmosis blockchains. Despite its misleading name, it does not have its own blockchain but operates within the “Humans ecosystem.”
The token is designed for advanced AI integration and can support 50 different blockchains. The company promotes slogans such as “a human behind every AI decision” and “proof of human” (TM).
Ongoing experiments include AI NFTs through HEART, and soon it will be possible to create digital art with AI.
Where can you find Humans AI? You can trade it on Gate IO with low spreads, and it’s also available on Kucoin, although we do not recommend that exchange at this time due to legal issues.

Is Adding “AI” to the Name Enough?
Some cryptocurrencies simply add the letters “AI” to their name to appear more attractive to potential investors, without much of a real use case. Examples include Pepe AI and Gym AI. Only time will tell how these coins develop.
